Mathilde Utzon, Columbia Journalism School, 2020-2021

Fulbright recipient Mathilde Utzon has spend the last two semesters at Columbia Journalism School as she arrived in New York back in August 2020. Now she is near the end of her stay and classes:

Time has just gone so fast, it is surreal to imagine that I just had my last session with my Columbia Journalism School cohort.

The Journalism faculty has made it possible for us to have most of our classes in person during the fall and spring, which has made such a difference in the learning experience.

I am so grateful that we were able to have classes on campus. I have built a strong relationship with my peers and with my professors and felt much more engaged than if I was taking the classes online.
