Fulbright Inter-Country Travel Grant

Fulbright Denmark participates in the Fulbright Inter-Country Travel Grant Program, which enables U.S Fulbright Scholars to create connections with other fellow scholars and institutions in their field in Europe. Each year approx. 200 American Fulbright visiting professors are affiliated with a university in Europe.

Danish higher education institutions can apply for one of these U.S. Fulbright professors to visit them for a maximum of one week, for example to give lectures, participate actively in seminars and workshops, etc.

Similarly, US Fulbright Scholars in Denmark can get invited to other institutions across Europe, and thus enrich their professional and cultural experience outside of Denmark.

If you wish to invite a US Fulbright Scholar

Please find a list of eligible scholars and read more about the application process here.

If you are a US Fulbright Scholar

Please ask the inviting institution to confirm that the Fulbright Commission in the inviting country offers Inter-Country Travel Grants. If so, you should apply for an Inter-Country Travel Grant directly with the relevant Commission. Fulbright Denmark may be contacted by the relevant Commission to confirm our approval of the travels.

To move, to breathe, to fly, to float,To gain all while you give,To roam the roads of lands remote,To travel is to live.

- H. C. Andersen, 1855
