This week, Fulbright Denmark celebrated at a reception the 40 grantees from Denmark and the U.S.A. who will participate in the Fulbright Program during the academic year 2022-23.

The 28 Danish grantees will be going to some of the very best and most prestigious American universities for studies and research. The 12 American grantees will spend their Fulbright time involved in studies, research, and teaching at Danish universities all over Denmark.

For Fulbright Denmark, high-quality academic exchanges are the means to work on the very purpose of the Fulbright Program, which is the belief that cultural insights are instrumental like few other things in the creation towards a better world. Through the bi-national Fulbright agreement from 1951, both the Danish and American governments are financially supporting Fulbright Denmark, and the 8 persons board (4 Danes/4 Americans) is closely supervising the continued high academic standards and the diversity of the program. Fulbright Denmark is part of the worldwide network of the other bi-national Fulbright commissions and programs.

Fulbright Denmark

Fulbright Denmark is a builder of relationships between knowledge institutions, students and scientists, and for corporates in Denmark and the USA. Fulbright Denmark opens up for opportunities beyond the financial support of the grant recipients.
