Fulbright Inter-Country Travel Grant

Every year approximately 200 American professors participate in the Fulbright Program in Europe to do research and share their knowledge. Through the Fulbright Inter-Country Travel Grant Program, Danish higher educational institutions can apply to bring a U.S. Fulbright professor to visit Denmark to give lectures or participate in events or seminars. The stay in Denmark can last for up to 1 week and Fulbright Denmark will cover the airfare expenses for the scholar.

The program is a unique opportunity for Danish higher education institutions to gain easy access to the best and the brightest American professors who are already in Europe on a Fulbright grant.

Next steps

If your Danish higher education institution is interested in hosting a U.S. Fulbright Scholar through the program, please see the list of eligible American Scholars here (excel file download) and read more here. For further questions, please contact Fulbright Denmark’s Program Coordinator.
