First in person meeting for Fulbright Arctic Initiative III took place in Iceland

The Fulbright Arctic Initiative brings together a network of scholars, professionals, and applied researchers from the Arctic states to address key research and policy questions related to creating a secure and sustainable Arctic. Lill Rastad Bjørst and Peter W.L. Linde represent the Kingdom of Denmark in cohort III of the initiative.

Lill Rastad Bjørst is currently on an exchange visit to Dartmouth College with a visit to University of Alaska Fairbanks, and Peter W.L. Linde has been a visiting scholar at the Wilson Center’s Polar Institute in Washington DC and visited Anchorage, Alaska. Last week, they both participated in the first in-person meeting for the FAI III in Iceland and agree that “our Icelandic hosts facilitated an excellent platform for knowledge exchange and friendship. The program was very inspiring with visits to Iceland’s many important institutions, decision-makers, and wonders of nature in the Arctic”.
