Last week Fulbright Denmark's Program Coordinator, Nina Foldager Jung, took part in three events - two online and one in person.

Online Q&A about the Crown Prince Frederik Fund’s scholarship to Harvard Kennedy School

On September 14, Fulbright Denmark hosted a Q&A session about the CPFF scholarship. The session covered:

  • Introduction of the scholarships.
  • Overview of the application process.
  • Questions about recommendations, test requirements, grades, etc.

Markleys Útbúgving

On September 15, Fulbright’s Nina Foldager Jung gave a presentation at Markleys Útbúgving, a foreign trade fair for Faroese students, on studying in the US. The presentation covered:

  • An overview of the American education system.
  • How to apply to an American university.
  • Student life in the United States.
  • Financing studies in the United States.
  • An introduction to the Fulbright program and our scholarships.

 

Nordic Study Abroad Conference

On September 18, Nina Foldager Jung attended the Nordic Study Abroad Conference in Copenhagen. During the visit she:

  • Gave a presentation in front of 130 students and introduced the Fulbright program and covered which scholarships are available.
  • Had a stand where students were able to ask questions about studying in the US (BA, MA, and internships), our scholarships, and the Fulbright program.
  • Gave a presentation on how to apply for a scholarship. This presentation covered how to find relevant scholarships, an overview of the application process, how to write a good application, and Fulbright’s scholarships.
