Our new Fulbright Scholar has arrived!

Grant purpose: Design-Based Inquiry to Support Innovation in Public Sector Social Welfare Organizations: An Opportunity for Co-Learning

Jodi Sandfort is a Professor at the University of Minnesota’s Humphrey School of Public Affairs. She is also the academic director of the School’s Future Services Institute, which she founded in 2016.

Sandfort will spend the spring 2020 semester at the University of Copenhagen’s Department of Political Science, where she will teach, work with national and local governments doing innovations in social welfare, and begin writing a book.

Innovation and Social Policy

“My focus will be on better understanding how design-based approaches to organizational change are being carried out in Danish public agencies,” Sandfort says.

Sandfort will also share her expertise in public policy implementation, innovation design, and evaluation with scholars in the University of Copenhagen’s public administration program.
