Congratulations!

Jeppe Kofod has been appointed Denmark’s new Minister of Foreign Affairs.

In 2006 Jeppe Kofod received a Fulbright Denmark grant for studies of Public Administration at Harvard University, USA.

Jeppe Kofod has been a member of the European Parliament from 2014 to June 2019, and has also been Chairman of the Foreign Policy Committee from 2011-­2013 and Vice­ Chairman from 2001­-2008.

Worldwide 37 former Fulbright grantees have been or are heads of states, or heads of their governments. Numerous Fulbrighters are serving their countries as Ministers.

On behalf of Fulbright Denmark, we are proud to add Jeppe Kofod to this prestigious Fulbright list.

Fulbright Denmark is based on a bi-national treaty from 1951. It is publicly funded by the Danish and the American states. Fulbright Denmark offers grants to both Danes to the U.S.A. and Americans to Denmark.
