Interested in American Studies?

The Chair in American Studies award is a position for American scholars that is rotated among Danish university-level institutions based upon a free and open competition. The award is currently co-funded by the University of Southern Denmark (SDU).

The applicant can apply for one year or one semester of teaching and research at SDU. The applicant must be in contact with SDU before applying in order to obtain a Letter of Invitation indicating that the university is willing to host the applicant.

The Center for American Studies was founded in 1992 to encourage research on the cultures, politics, literature, and traditions of the United States.
